The design and construction of a new coastal holiday home on the Mornington Peninsula in collaboration with Architect Ethan Steen from Steen Architects, Sth Yarra. This expansive coastal home is set on a one acre block and was designed to accommodate multi generational extended family and friends. A conventional floor plan was deliberately dissected into five separate building pods each with a dedicated function and all connected with glazed link corridors. The extensive use of monumental rammed earth walls and high raked, skillion ceilings gives this unique home a relaxed holiday comfort while enjoying contemporary architectural living.
